WELDER/FABRICATOR

ASI is currently seeking qualified individuals to grow our manufacturing team. Attendance must be a priority. Desired qualifications and skills include:

​

• minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent;

• 1-3 years of relevant experience a plus;​

• ability to read blueprints and job order specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, tooling, and instructions;​

• ability to verify conformance to blueprints and specifications using precise measurements, levels, and tools;

• ability to fabricate industrial converting dryers using MIG welding, riveting, drilling, cutting, and grinding steel;

• welding experience and/or certification a plus;​

• a team player who can work diligently and accurately with minimal supervision;

• exceptional organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment;

• great communication skills and receptive to learning new skills, being trained, and constructive feedback;

• physically capable of lifting up to 70 pounds and endure climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing and pulling.
